Was born in Moscow in 1941.
- 1963 - graduated from the MSPU (Faculty of arts and graphics)
- Since 1974 - a member of the Artists' Union of the USSR
- Since 1972 - a regular participant of graphic exhibitions in Russia and abroad
- Collaborated with different publishing houses: "Detgiz", "The World", "The Soviet Writer", etc.
- His most famous illustrations may be seen in "Alice in Wonderland", "Alice Through the Looking Glass" by Lewis Carroll.
- Was awarded with Golden medal of BIB (1987)
