Home theater

These works appeared for the first time in the mid-eighties. Left alone in an apartment where a large family had previously lived, I felt the presence of people who left, their warmth, the signs of their life. These feelings created a series of works called "Home Theater". The actors of this theater “came out for a short time”, but their invisible presence is the plot of my work. The empty space of the apartment, wardrobes, tables, chairs and doors replace the people, play their roles, expand the private history of the family. In these seemingly random scenes, there is something familiar to everyone that has already been lived through. I constantly return to these spaces, add new plots, build scenes and scenery of my personal theater.
